We got white tiles…not the wheat colored…The tiles were SO light weight and easy to apply and have stayed in place VERY well!! My room looks wonderful. We’re thinking of doing a big area in our home!! Much faster application than we thought! We decided to do a diagonal pattern and turned out so nice!! Love them!!. Veronica. Buchanan Dam, TX. I am finishing putting these tiles up. Painted them prior to installation with metallic acrylic paint, two coats. Antiqued them with black acrylic paint. The result is stunning and looks amazingly like old copper. I spend a lot of time just laying on the floor looking up. For anyone thinking that styrofoam is not going to look beautiful, they are mistaken. The tiles I ordered for my bedroom arrived today, looking forward to putting them up as well.. Jo. These are really pretty and they'll work out for us. I was a little surprised that they are basically like Styrofoam- super light and thin so you have to be very careful not to crease or crack them. Probably not a great solution if they'll be up close but will work fine up on a ceiling or something where they're a little further away and you can't tell it's like Styrofoam. I do like the antiqued look of them and think the color and design is really pretty.. Deanna. Hampstead, NH. Fri Jun 26 2026

Yes it’s styrofoam, but that makes it super easy to install IF you actually read the directions and use the correct adhesive. You can paint is using standard latex wall paint if you’re careful it’ll look amazing. Very easy to cut very easy to install. I painted mine first then over rolled and caulked the seams after I installed a few. If you get the 3d ones I would get an air sprayer and put 2 coats of paint on then install caulk and paint the seams. As with anything if you want good results read the directions first look up the videos and take your time. This is a partially finished project and the blotches are only 1 coat the second paint coat makes it come alive. Anonymous. Middletown, CT. Sun Jul 04 2021

These glue up tiles were the perfect solution for my attached one car garage that had a really bad unpainted drywall ceiling for the past 45 years. Snapping a few chalk lines made installation quick and easy. Because the ceiling was so uneven in spots a few of my lines got wonky but I was able to compensate by slightly adjusting a few tiles as I go. Now I just need to use a little white silicone caulk in a few spots and the ceiling will be the best man cave in the neighborhood!!. Richard. Chicago Suburbs Il. Sat Aug 21 2021
