I absolutely love my new ceiling! My house was built in the 1960,s and the ceiling in the living room was horrible looking. We needed to install a drop ceiling and we decided to try the waterproof ceiling panel with the revealed edge so it would not look like a basement ceiling. The tiles are nice and light, yet they lay very nicely on the grid. The fact that they are washable is a huge plus. My husband cut the tiles to fit around the border using his table saw with a fine tooth blade. He also used scissors for a couple of tiles that needed fine tuning. The product is very easy to work with and is a rubbery plastic, not a brittle plastic, very nice quality. Lastly, Wayfar is a top notch company to buy from. Wish these came as individual pieces you can buy, we only ended up using 3 of them, but I love how they turned out! Did take a bit of trial and error to cut them to fit appropriately into our drop ceiling, but good product, doesn't bend or break easily. This is the galvanized steel color 2 x 4 ft. Great alternative to metal wall paneling. Cutting it was very easy. Attached to stucco with liquid nails, lots of it. These are great. There is a learning curve to putting them up. But I put them up by myself. I used a quick grab adhesive in dime sized dollops. Then used a paint roller to help hold them into place. This is a beautiful tile. I shopped for a glossy white ceiling tile and comparable tiles were $1-$2 more per square foot. This is a flat tile and does NOT have a beveled edge. I placed mine directly over the cheaper acoustical tiles and they look great. I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. They were delivered piled on a pallet and wrapped with clear plastic with the result being scratched tiles. I'm probably the only person that notices the scratches but when you are paying $2.99 per square foot you want a perfect tile. These ceiling tiles are a little difficult to put up, however, we accomplished the goal. They are light weight and easy to handle, but you will need two people to hang them. Be sure to apply glue to all parts of the tile (particularly on the back of the little squares) except the center flat space because it will get a "lumpy" appearing texture.
