These are great. There is a learning curve to putting them up. But I put them up by myself. I used a quick grab adhesive in dime sized dollops. Then used a paint roller to help hold them into place. Everything you need from a ceiling tile without the fuss. Non-directional fissured texture means no wrong way to install, the square lay-in edge keeps things tidy, and it drops right into any standard grid. Practical, affordable, reliable.

These were exactly what our dated basement ceiling needed. Our space looks amazing and so fresh now! We painted our existing ceiling grid and then installed the new tiles in black. Overall, the tiles showed up in good condition. Some corners where a little damaged, but you just pick out the good ones for full tiles and use the damaged ones for the edges, where you have to cut them. A few tips from our experience: - Open all tiles and sort by the good full tiles and the slightly damaged ones for the cut pile. - Wear gloves when handling. the black will come off on your hands (washes off), but your skin oils may leave marks on the tiles so best to wear gloves. - I tried wiping tiles off with a damp clothe but it left subtle marks, so I would NOT suggest this. I would suggest using dry cloth first to clear off dust marks. I have not done it yet, but I plan to get paint to match and do some touch up. This is the galvanized steel color 2 x 4 ft. Great alternative to metal wall paneling. Cutting it was very easy. Attached to stucco with liquid nails, lots of it. This is a beautiful tile. I shopped for a glossy white ceiling tile and comparable tiles were $1-$2 more per square foot. This is a flat tile and does NOT have a beveled edge. I placed mine directly over the cheaper acoustical tiles and they look great. I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. They were delivered piled on a pallet and wrapped with clear plastic with the result being scratched tiles. I'm probably the only person that notices the scratches but when you are paying $2.99 per square foot you want a perfect tile. Soundsulate acoustical ceiling tiles are an excellent choice for absorbing sound within a room. Great for small businesses, restaurants, home theaters, offices, studios, or anywhere you are looking to reduce the noise, reverberation and echo in a space. They fit into a standard ceiling grid and can be cut easily with a utility knife. The backside of the tiles are made from high quality soft fiberglass and then finished with a rigid, white non-woven fabric. Light fixtures should be installed onto the ceiling grid and not the tiles themselves. NOTE: These tiles will have a slight light gray appearance when installed.

These ceiling tiles are a little difficult to put up, however, we accomplished the goal. They are light weight and easy to handle, but you will need two people to hang them. Be sure to apply glue to all parts of the tile (particularly on the back of the little squares) except the center flat space because it will get a "lumpy" appearing texture.
