I was looking for an extra bed without the commitment of a full-time bedroom, and this Murphy bed fit the bill. It took about 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I referenced the assembly youtube to help get the actual visual process along the way. There were reviews about the mattress not being super comfortable (I would agree- functional, not what I would offer to a guest), so I purchased a memory topper for when it's being used. It is easy to transform to a bed. I did also make sure I had a rug to put under it, as someone commented that the one frame piece is not connected to the rest of the frame when in bed form and might move around. It is a quality piece of furniture, looks lovely in both forms, and has made my bonus room an extra space for guests.. Sarah. Forks, WA. Sat Nov 12 2022

The bed is bafflingly heavy for how flimsy its materials are, and the solid wood slats are actually plywood. We absolutely love our Mandujano Murphy Bed in the Barnwood finish. After downsizing, we needed our larger office to double as a guest room, and this bed is perfect. It’s solid wood, extremely well built, and the design is brilliant — when folded up, it looks like a beautiful chest of drawers, and the bottom drawer is a real storage drawer that holds pillows, sheets, and a blanket. We bought the matching mattress thinking we might upgrade it later, but it’s genuinely comfortable. When our twin sons were visiting, one son slept on it with a plush topper and liked it so much he stayed in the Murphy bed even after the guest room became available when his brother departed. The Barnwood color blends perfectly with my wife’s Italian furniture, and the stowed design leaves room for a wall‑mounted TV above it. The built‑in power module with USB and standard outlets is a thoughtful touch. This bed is stable, comfortable, compact when stored, and very reasonably priced for the quality. We’re thrilled with it. Full endorsement.. Gerry. Charlotte. Sat Aug 22 2026

It arrived in 2 packages, with quite a few dings in the corners of the wood pieces. I still put most of it together since many of the corners wouldnt be seen. Unfortunately the main front piece had a big ding and split at the corner so we requested a replacement part. The replacement came, and it was damaged in the same area! Definitely not great quality materials, and it should probably be packed in 3 packages so it's not so heavy for transit. Would not recommend.. Nicole. Sarasota, FL. Thu Jul 03 2025

Well this caused a lot of problems between my husband and I! He usually never has any problems putting things together and this was extremely complicated and took him three days! It’s fairly well made and not horrible to look at. It did fit our 10 inch mattress and we had a guest already who said it was very comfortable, so it’s very functional at least.. Deanna. Space-Saving Design: This Full/Queen Wall Murphy bed features an innovative folding mechanism that seamlessly combines a bed and desk. Equipped with hydraulic hinges, the desk automatically folds away when the bed is pulled down, maximizing space. It's the ideal choice for small apartments, studio rooms, or multifunctional spaces.

This Queen size murphy bed chest features a solid and manufactured wood structure finished in a contemporary style. During the day, the unit stands as a sleek living room cabinet against the wall, keeping floor space completely open for daily activities and foot traffic. When hosting overnight guests or transition time arrives, the front panel unfolds forward to reveal a stable, standard-sized sleeping alcove. The integrated power panel includes two USB charging ports and dual AC outlets, allowing guests to charge phones directly from the bedside without hunting for distant wall sockets. The two lower drawers roll out quietly on metal glides to keep spare pillows and heavy winter blankets neatly tucked away but within arm's reach. This MDF and solid wood frame accommodates standard queen mattresses, sold separately.

We bought two of these for our guestgame room. There are a lot of steps to put them together but its actually quite easy. I suggest having a second person as some of the pieces are long, its just easy to line up with the other person. The wheels worked better on carpet than I thought they would. The mattresses are better than the reviews as higher end mattresses would simply not fold into the cabinet.. Anonymous. Mon May 04 2026
