It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. This bed works perfect for my son. I will say that it was quite difficult to put together though. Many of the screws did not line up great, making it a frustrating build. Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known.
