This works really well for my son. He thinks the lights are cool and there are lots of spots to place his books and collections. We had up buy a new mattress though. First we had those foam mattresses and I stabled two but as soon as he sat on the bed, the pillows would fall in between the mattress and the headboard. The new mattress works perfectly.
