Traditional Daybeds

In the fast - paced life, we always long for a corner where our body and mind can slow down. This velvet daybed is like a life companion who understands your needs . With its soft velvet touch and a calm and advanced color tone, when placed in the living room, it becomes an exclusive space for a lazy afternoon of reading newspapers and taking a nap; when placed in the guest room, it can transform into a comfortable bed, providing a warm sleeping experience for guests.

We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. I love that it can instantly be transformed to a guest bed. My ten year old daughter helped me assemble it in an evening. It’s what we needed for our space. Note we purchased an 8 inch mattress from Wayfair as well so it would look like a couch. A thicker mattress would be too tall for the look of a couch.. B Lou. Black Hills, SD. Mon Jul 06 2026

This daybed gives you another spot to sleep, whether it's found a home in your guest room or in your main living area. It stands out thanks to its scooped silhouette on the back and sides, along with traditional turned detailing on its four corner legs. Made from solid and engineered wood, this bed is wrapped in a neutral-toned polyester fabric that blends in nicely with almost any style, color palette, or pattern. Nailhead trim completes the overall look, and a slat kit provides ample support for a twin mattress (sold separately).

When I received it and put it together it had a big stain on the headboard. Not sure what it is but it looks soiled. I called Wayfair and they gave me a portion of my money back. I was happy with that because the stain remover that I had to buy was costly. I used it and it worked to a point. The stain wasn’t as dark. I could use pillows to cover it. Other than that, the day bed is nice.. Mary. US. Mon Jun 08 2026

Really cute daybed and cannot beat the price. Not a fan of the legs, so may try to replace those. As with most daybeds, I would not recommend a mattress more than 8 inches thick. Six inches is ideal and the size I am using. I believe that is the size that is shown in the product photos. Anything thicker and you will lose a lot of the frame.. Heather. Lincolnshire, IL. The daybed is solid and the wood is excellent. However, the paint scratches very easily. I've had to touch up many spots after putting it together. Assembling the bed was quite a chore. With a design that speaks to your love of vintage styling, the classic design daybed with a lift-up trundle helps you to achieve the timeless aesthetic you wish to present in any room. Classic elements, such as ball accents on the vertical rods of the daybed and its curved profit, are finished in an antique bronze serving as an effective statement on the traditional look. The lift-up trundle provides convenient expansion of the sleeping area, with its folding legs quickly engaging to bring the unit to full height while the casters allow for ease of storage.

Very happy with it. Needed a trundle bed that would fit 9.5 inch mattresses. Bottom does just fine with 9.5 inch. Would probably do okay with 10 inch too. Only used the top so far but it’s comfy. If you have any creaking make sure to tighten everything up and it should be fine. They say not to tighten until end so then you need to go back and tighten to make sure there is no creaking or wiggling. Pretty easy to put together even as one person just a bit of time. Bronze color is pretty black with a hint of the bronze when light hits it. I put it in a room with a desk with true black metal accents and it looks fine.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 30 2026
