Light Wood Daybeds

In the fast - paced life, we always long for a corner where our body and mind can slow down. This velvet daybed is like a life companion who understands your needs . With its soft velvet touch and a calm and advanced color tone, when placed in the living room, it becomes an exclusive space for a lazy afternoon of reading newspapers and taking a nap; when placed in the guest room, it can transform into a comfortable bed, providing a warm sleeping experience for guests.

We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. I love that it can instantly be transformed to a guest bed. My ten year old daughter helped me assemble it in an evening. It’s what we needed for our space. Note we purchased an 8 inch mattress from Wayfair as well so it would look like a couch. A thicker mattress would be too tall for the look of a couch.. Brenda. Black Hills, SD. Mon Jul 06 2026

This bed is great!!! Really nice soft buttery suedish material. Didn’t take long at all to put together, maybe an hour The shelves on the side are so useful and makes it so that you don’t need a side table which is great for smaller spaces. The brown isn’t very dark. The drawer underneath is a little annoying and gets bumped out of place but I’m ok with it.. Aleksandra. Wood Ridge, NJ. Thu Oct 08 2026

This daybed gives you another spot to sleep, whether it's found a home in your guest room or in your main living area. It stands out thanks to its scooped silhouette on the back and sides, along with traditional turned detailing on its four corner legs. Made from solid and engineered wood, this bed is wrapped in a neutral-toned polyester fabric that blends in nicely with almost any style, color palette, or pattern. Nailhead trim completes the overall look, and a slat kit provides ample support for a twin mattress (sold separately).

When I received it and put it together it had a big stain on the headboard. Not sure what it is but it looks soiled. I called Wayfair and they gave me a portion of my money back. I was happy with that because the stain remover that I had to buy was costly. I used it and it worked to a point. The stain wasn’t as dark. I could use pillows to cover it. Other than that, the day bed is nice.. Mary. US. Mon Jun 08 2026

Truly, so easy to put together. The one year-old and the three-year-old can easily get in and out, and I’ve noticed they stay in their beds longer at night now because the back cradles them. It can take a beating. It had a slight scent like packaging for about four or five hours, but that went away. It’s really easy to get smudges out with just a damp cloth. Highly recommend.. Jennifer. Packaging, Compact and Protected. Labeling of parts, Simple and organized. Instructions, Pretty clear and obvious, im just dumb and had to backtrack a lot. Best done with more than one person, but I did it on my own. Took all day because im slow and get distracted. Otherwise its a pretty straight forward process. You definitely do want a drill though. Makes things a lot easier. Meshing of parts and Flush pieces, Theyre pretty sturdy and mesh well. There were some corners and things that didnt line up super perfectly but Im inclined to think thats my fault. Notes for those who buy, The more people helping, the better. Invest in an electric drill. If you install the lights with the black hooks, dont position the lights flush to the top of the shelves, leave a little bit of a CM gap so that the hooks can clasp properly- they cant close if the lights are touching the ceiling of the shelf. Also, I got a box spring as this set doesnt come with one. The height is great with one!. Charisse. USA. Tue Sep 29 2026

Color is just right and matches our pine furnishings. Bed went togather well. It looks good from a distance. Up close the finger joints do show under the lighter tone of the stain and finish. But overall this piece looks good. It is only 74 inches long and many twin mattresses are listed as 75 inches long. Also the standard 39 inch wide mattress will overhang about 3 inches. I used a 10 inch thick mattress and am sorry. The bed is quite high and not useful as a couch now. The limitations may not be as clear in online info as they could be. But it is a fairly priced and attractive daybed.. Diane. Washington State. Tue Sep 01 2026

Beautiful daybed with trundle. Easy to put together. My twin granddaughters love it!. Carol. La Verne, CA. Sat Oct 10 2026

This is a great bed. For the price we are really happy with it! We’re using it for our grandchildren. However, one thing you do need to know is a standard mattress doesn’t fit correctly. There’s about 3 to 4 inches on the top and the bottom that if a child was standing on the bed, their foot can go right down through. We are going to remedy it with some foam and some wood support. However, just beware of this issue. Other than that and the fact that the frame is too big for a standard twin mattress and too small for a twin XL. It’s a really great sturdy bed.. Patricia. That may be solid wood, but it is extremely lightweight and came with several marred board places. I'm not about to send it back as the assembly pro was here ready to put it together. He, by the way, was very professional and did a good job. It will serve the purpose at our beach house, but I certainly would not use it anyplace that was going to get a lot of use.. Bac.
