I needed a bed frame fast to accommodate my daughter visiting with her new born. The frame was delivered as expected. It was easy to put together, considering I am assemble challenged lol. I put it together without help. As a new mom my daughter was in and out of bed often and said it was sturdy. I’ve had it since 2023; the wood frame bars are still in tact, no crackling or squeaking and it’s been used everyday and still in excellent condition. Very sturdy bed with nice craftsmanship/materials. Paint was fine for the grey. Drawers are made of nice thick material. Not the cheap cardboard backing. The bed comes with 10 cross beams to support the mattress, but I added a few more from the bed I replaced. Didn't really need it, but just made a sturdy bed that much more. Be sure to add a drop of wood glue to the wood inserts, really helps over the long haul. Assembly too about 3-4 hours. The daybed is solid and the wood is excellent. However, the paint scratches very easily. I've had to touch up many spots after putting it together. Assembling the bed was quite a chore. This is a great bed! We got it for my 10 year old daughter, but this bed would be great for any age. We love the trundle feature as it glides out with ease. The height of the back sides is perfect, as many other daybeds have lower profile sides back, which I did not like. We also did a lot of research on weight capacity, simply for the purpose of durability and longevity this one was better than most (and the trundle as well). We also like that the standard twin size mattress (that we already had) fits perfectly in the trundle (whereas with many other trundles we researched, you would need a much lower profile mattress)..
