I needed a bed frame fast to accommodate my daughter visiting with her new born. The frame was delivered as expected. It was easy to put together, considering I am assemble challenged lol. I put it together without help. As a new mom my daughter was in and out of bed often and said it was sturdy. I’ve had it since 2023; the wood frame bars are still in tact, no crackling or squeaking and it’s been used everyday and still in excellent condition. This is a great daybedsitting couch. It arrived packaged well. Very little assembly is required. Attaching the legs is the only thing needed. All the tools needed are included. I would literally give this 10 stars if I could. It’s lightweight, super easy to move, extremely simply to fold in and out, and incredibly comfortable. Love the pocket on the side for extra storage. I was a bit hesitant to buy this daybed because there were no reviews to read. However, after looking at many other daybeds, this was the only one that had the smallest measurements. My small room couldn’t accomodate a larger size bed so I took a chance. It turned out to be sturdy and attractive. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the piece. It is quite heavy as I am sure other daybeds are as well. It came delivered in two boxes, one long one that contained the back and front pieces and the other shorter box had the sides and the slats. Delivery was great. My husband and I unpackaged everything in the garage and brought pieces in separately. It was more manageable that way instead of trying to lift extremely heavy boxes into a small house and room. It definitely takes two people to put it together since the pieces are cumbersome but we did it in a few hours. I bought an 8 inch twin mattress for the trundle and a 10 inch twin mattress for the top. They fit perfectly and the trundle slides underneath with no problem. It is on wheels which makes it very easy. A bag of washers and a bag of screws were missing from the package of hardware for the trundle but we were able to match the missing pieces with our own hardware. The slats for the trundle were much easier to put on as the holes were predrilled for the two end slats and the middle slat. The slats for the upper bed was a bit harder as there were no predrilled holes but we were able to estimate the spacing between them. It helps that all the slats are attached together with a ribbon and you just lay them onto the frame all around the bed and then screw them on. Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself.
