The chairs are very sturdy and nicely put together. The chairs are solid wood. I purchased the oak wood finish with green seats and backs. The upholstered backs really help with comfort on the upper back. They are very comfortable to sit in. The back legs have floor protectors that are adustable, so you can adjust them if they are sitting on a unlevel surface. The front floor protectors are stationary. My husband assembled the chairs outside and why the photos are taken outside. As you can see the finish of the chairs will go nicely with the finish of the table. I highly recommend the chairs..
