It’s really pretty looking dining set. The chairs came first and well packed then the table arrived 3 days later. It’s easy to assemble. I like the idea that I don’t have to take out the leaf extension , just fold and it goes underneath the table. I had a little problem when i opened the box (table) the hardware box was opened, bolts and washers are everywhere. Overall great quality! Assembly was doable. Just need to take it one step at a time. It would’ve been faster with two people building it but you can also do it alone. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. Absolutely love this table and chair set - deliberated a long long time on what combination of table and chairs to get. It should be noted that Wayfair does offer a lot of mix and match as sets (meaning the same chairs are offered worn multiple tables and vice versa) so I was weary that the chairs and table wouldn’t match but in this case it’s a great fit. I was looking for a set big enough to fit a lot of people at holidays but also not be too large and obtrusive as the dining room in my house ends up being a walk through. Furniture store sets I looked at had these huge bulky chairs and they were way too stately for what I needed. This table and chairs worked exactly for what I needed. easily allowing the set to stay fully extended while not blocked any pathways. The color really brings all the tones of my house together and does exactly what I wanted. The chairs are not uncomfortable like other reviews state but also this is a formal dining room set up and not our everyday eat in kitchen table so I don’t care much about comfort especially since no one will be in them most days and a short time when they do. This is a nice good quality dining set. The table top arrived with a crack in it but I’m getting a replacement.
