These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. I really like these chairs! They’re comfortable and provide great support, and overall I’m very happy with how they look and feel. I’m giving them four stars because the assembly instructions are not very clear. The first chair took us way too long to assemble because we followed the instructions exactly as they were shown. It wasn’t until we finished the first chair that I realized the instructions are actually in the wrong order. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad. We got this table to use as an "outdoor" work table in our garage, and it’s been perfect for our needs. The extendable design is really convenient for larger projects. I love being able to adjust the size depending on how much space we need, and the benches are easily stored underneath to save space. One thing to note is that the box is very heavy when it arrives, but the individual pieces are lightweight and easy to handle during assembly. If you need to move it across floors solo, I recommend just taking the pieces one by one. I definitely couldn't lift the box by myself or build it solo.
