I really like these chairs! They’re comfortable and provide great support, and overall I’m very happy with how they look and feel. I’m giving them four stars because the assembly instructions are not very clear. The first chair took us way too long to assemble because we followed the instructions exactly as they were shown. It wasn’t until we finished the first chair that I realized the instructions are actually in the wrong order. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad. These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. This table is a really solid piece of furniture! 2 colors are available, and the beautiful top showcases the warm walnut wood grain or the modern natural oak while metal legs with sanded matte black finish create a modern and natural focal point in any dining room or kitchen. This chair is solidly built. Weight capacity is 300 lbs. The cushy seat and sloping back are padded upholstery sewn with subtle channels. Channel tufted upholstery gives the chair a polished look while still keeping its cushiness. The welt-cord details add a sophisticated look. The durable faux leather is super easy to wipe down!!! Both the black and brown are kind of modern matt tones with only quite a light sheen, not tacky at all!
