These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. We got this table to use as an "outdoor" work table in our garage, and it’s been perfect for our needs. The extendable design is really convenient for larger projects. I love being able to adjust the size depending on how much space we need, and the benches are easily stored underneath to save space. One thing to note is that the box is very heavy when it arrives, but the individual pieces are lightweight and easy to handle during assembly. If you need to move it across floors solo, I recommend just taking the pieces one by one. I definitely couldn't lift the box by myself or build it solo. This chair is solidly built. Weight capacity is 300 lbs. The cushy seat and sloping back are padded upholstery sewn with subtle channels. The table is very sturdy and very heavy especially since it is on the thinner side when it comes to the width size of it, but other than that it feels like it will last a long time.
