Love the table, solid and sturdy, however it was very difficult to put together. Highly suggest you go with the furniture assembly option unless you have a few hours to make this work. I am beyond happy with this dining room table and chairs! The description says rubberized wood, not sure what that means, but it looks like regular painted wood. It arrived in four boxes, none of which weighed more than 40 pounds. The instructions were straightforward and tools were included. I struggled with tightening the bolts on the pedestal so I used my own wrench. The chairs do not wobble, they are secure on the floor. This set is good quality for DIY furniture. The linen white color matches my soft, white cabinetry well. One caution is making sure you are using the correct bolt size (face palm). It took me 2-3 hours to assemble and I was tired by the last chair assembly so I had to undo the seat and legs because I used the wrong bolts. Overall I am very happy and definitely would buy it again.. Anonymous. Tallahassee. Mon Oct 27 2025

This was my first purchase on Wayfair and I was very skeptical about purchasing furniture on line. All reviews were good and so I took a chance. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the chairs and table; very sturdy. All items were received in great condition and very easy to assemble! Table is a dark wood, cushions on chairs are a little darker than what is shown on line, but they are fine.. Deanna. Walnut Creek, CA. Thu Apr 25 2019

This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. The “assembled” chairs were missing the wood screws in most chairs ( 20 in total). Wayfair is supposed to be sending them out…. Tamara. Melvin, MI. Mon Nov 24 2025

So far I have the chairs put together and I really like them. I just need to put the legs on the table and we’re good to go. My delivery was on the day it was set to come. I had to go back and find out how the leaf worked. There was no direction in the instruction. Luckily you had a demonstration so I was happy about that. Thank you.. Antoinette. Warren, OH. Its smaller than I expected it. It was a little difficult putting it together by myself. I like the quality. I would suggest getting some rubber cushions for the edges of the table if you have young children.. Khaleel. Bronx, NY. Tue Sep 22 2026

The table and chairs are made out of very solid material. Being an online purchase, I was expecting something more like particle board or something like that. Not so. I'm very happy with the quality of the table and chairs so far (2 weeks). The only thing that was a surprise was the color. If you want the medium brown in the Wayfair photos online, you need to buy something else. The color of this set is a dark chocolate brown, not medium brown. The color works for me so I have no complaints, but be warned the color online is much lighter than what will arrive at your home via FedEx. One last thing...I did have to get three new chair backs because of discoloration and scratches. But Wayfair was great...they sent them out immediately and everything was put together. So far, I would say this has been an excellent purchase.. Philip. Carmel, IN. Mon Aug 05 2024

We are happy with our purchase. It came a day earlier than predicted. All pieces were there and although the assembly instructions were minimal the only tools needed were included and “how to do it” was intuitive. It would be preferable if the main chair were the cherry finish with a black seat, but it does look nice.. Gail Willis. Seattle. Sun Jul 30 2023
