My Maltese sleeps with me and even though he visits a groomer monthly I have found that his nails have picked the material in a couple of spots. The throw is perfect and very pretty! The only reason I rated it a four is because it had a horrible chemical smell to it. Don't know if it's from storing it in a warehouse and they spray back there or what? I washed it and the smell is slowly fading but will have to wash it again.
