I am very pleased with this cotton blanket. It has a nice texture, and the quality was what I expected/hoped for, from the photo. It is light weight, for spring/summer, when a little bit more than a sheet is called for. I washed it right away ( - I do this with almost all sheets and other new bedding - ) and yes, as I believe some other reviewer mentioned, there is a great deal of lint generated in the dryer, presumably just the first two, maybe three the blanket is washed. This was not a problem for me, I just scooped the load of lint out of my dryer's lint catcher. ( - And, I made sure to dry a load of WHITES right after, rather than a load of Darks. My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected.
