By morning they had actual loft. The adjustable fill is why they work. I’m a side sleeper and the first night felt a little tall, so I took some foam out of one pillow. That made the difference. My partner left theirs fuller. Same set, two different preferences. They sleep cooler than the old solid memory foam pillows I had. Not ice-cold, just not that trapped-heat feeling after an hour. Covers come off and go in the wash, which is the only way I keep pillows around. If you buy these, do two things: give them a day to expand, then actually adjust the fill instead of sleeping on them as-shipped. That’s how you get your money’s worth.
