The outer covering of the pillow feels cool to the touch at first but gets warm after using it for a little while. The material itself causes a pillowcase to slide and move around . I find that my original coop adjustable pillow is more comfortable because the pillow case stays in place and the outer covering is more comfortable. I do not see any difference in the level of cooling.. I am disappointed in the product. This plush, Plush pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high-quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not! Plush Support is a flatter-style pillow perfect for front or back sleepers who need gentle support.
