Great out of the box! It wasn’t too complicated, which I was worried about, and the app is very easy to use to designate different areas and tell the vacuum where not to go. Easily ran the first vacuum and mop, and the floors were immediately much cleaner. The suction power is outstanding, picking up dust, pet hair, and debris from both hard floors and carpets with no issues. The self-emptying dock is a huge convenience and saves a lot of time. Navigation is accurate, and the robot maps rooms efficiently without missing spots. The mopping feature is also a great bonus for keeping floors looking fresh between deep cleanings. Works so good! Finally, a mop that washes itself as it cleans. My hardwood floors are not just water pushed around with a dirty mop, it rotates the brushes and rinses the mop. I may need to get a second just for my bottom floor and let them live in two places, caring for each floor while I sit at home and work remotely. Only on day 2 but it was easy to set up and it’s vacuumed twice so far. I’m pretty sure it’s pulling hair from the carpet that came from our dogs, and the last dog had been gone for two years! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI for several weeks. It does my kitchen, hallway, bathroom and living room in roughly 19 minutes. You can pick what section to clean, so it can do all sections or just a singular one like the living room. It knows what's the living room, what's the hallway, what's the kitchen and what's the bathroom—which is pretty cool. Honestly, it does it quicker than me—when I hoover I get on all fours, and then I've still got to fill the mop bucket and add chemicals. It's not as thorough though, getting close to the corners but missing about an inch and a half to an inch and three quarters away from the wall. It's dead simple to use, you just let it get on with it. It uses heated water to clean the floor as it mops. I've sat on the sofa watching the green light scan the carpet for objects—it's quite therapeutic, really. It's not very loud when it's cleaning either, only getting slightly noisy for about 30 seconds when it docks to empty. The tanks are simple to empty from the main hub too, and after several hoovers and mops I've only had to empty it once. Over the course of a month it's probably saving me an hour to an hour and 40 minutes worth of cleaning, but honestly probably more than that because I don't have to do anything and I find myself having it clean more often.
