I live on gravel and use this mostly to clean off my car before parking in the garage and to blow debris out of the garage. It doesn’t have the power of a leaf blower but it is definitely lighter and much easier to handle than a leaf blower. It is also much quieter. Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly. What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it’s one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds. It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That’s been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints. The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It’s easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up. A couple things to keep in mind: It’s best on hard floors—it’ll do area rugs, but it’s not a deep carpet cleaner The battery lasts around 30 to 40 minutes, which I found gave me adequate time to clean all the spaces I need while not lose cleaning power. You do have to clean out the dirty water tank after each use or the black water will smell horrid if you let it sit. For a busy home with pets and kids, it’s truly the biggest game-changer. It doesn’t replace a full vacuum for carpets, but for everyday messes, it makes keeping the floors clean way more manageable. Very happy with this purchase. I am a gardener and do a lot of home canning. This results in a mixed mess of dirt and vegetable peels and skins and berries. I LOVE the part where only clean water is being used on the floor. I actually end up with CLEAN floors rather than just mostly clean because the water is getting dirty as it's being used. I also have two dogs and a cat and they are all heavy shedders. This handles their fur without issues. I also love the self clean of the brush and clean up is quick and easy. Just dump and rinse and let dry. I would love the option of a larger capacity water tank for larger cleaning tasks so only the dirty fill tank would have to be dumped mid job vs having to also refill the cleaning tank every time too.. I am using it for my rv to suck up pet hair, cat and dog food and cat litter crumbs. It has a light on it and different suction settings. I give it 5 stars for what it is. This is a great little hand vacuum cleaner. It has a lot of suction, easy to empty out the dust bin, perfect charging stand, and it even has a light to see in dark corners of your car or home. It comes with a charging cord, extra filter, and attachable flat head that you can use that for carpet or big areas or you could take it off and use the smaller head for corners. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I was given this iRobot Roomba Plus 515 Combo robot + AutoWash for my honest review. First used this for mapping, of course, then for vacuuming. The app is very easy to use. It does a very nice job, getting under a lot of the furniture, starting on the perimeter and then vacuuming the rest in a back and forth path. It empties the dust bin often. I find no evidence of dust in the air, so it's well-filtered. It is pretty quiet, but I prefer using it when we aren't going to be visiting or watching our shows. The mopping function surprised me in that it did better than I expected it to. Seemed to use the right amout of water (though this is a choice in the app) and then washed and dried the mop heads when it went back to the charger. (I took a video of it from instructing it to mop one bathroom, to when it finished all the steps after, but it was too large to include in my review.) I have only found two cons. 1-It has missed automated cleaning because it somehow goes offline. I have to take it off the dock and reboot it. I'm hoping this gets better. But I did discover that it can be run with Alexa! 2-Maintenance - Needs a way to automatically cut hair from the roller and the small sweeper arm. We all have long hair and it winds up EVERYWHERE. Last robot vacuum's ONLY pro was an auto hair cutter. Roomba is almost PERFECT! Please consider adding this feature! All this said, we LOVE this Roomba, and our clean floors!! Pro: Great wet vac! Did a much better job at stain removal than I expected. Oil based stain in my seat came completely out. Several winters of caked in mud and salt came right out of my floorboards, leaving them looking new. Easy to clean the vacuum when you're done using it. Con: The dry vac only seemed to be an afterthought. For a vacuum designed for a car it was clunky and didn't reach well under seats or in crevices. Did an ok job, but left a LOT behind.
