[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I was given this iRobot Roomba Plus 515 Combo robot + AutoWash for my honest review. First used this for mapping, of course, then for vacuuming. The app is very easy to use. It does a very nice job, getting under a lot of the furniture, starting on the perimeter and then vacuuming the rest in a back and forth path. It empties the dust bin often. I find no evidence of dust in the air, so it's well-filtered. It is pretty quiet, but I prefer using it when we aren't going to be visiting or watching our shows. The mopping function surprised me in that it did better than I expected it to. Seemed to use the right amout of water (though this is a choice in the app) and then washed and dried the mop heads when it went back to the charger. (I took a video of it from instructing it to mop one bathroom, to when it finished all the steps after, but it was too large to include in my review.) I have only found two cons. 1-It has missed automated cleaning because it somehow goes offline. I have to take it off the dock and reboot it. I'm hoping this gets better. But I did discover that it can be run with Alexa! 2-Maintenance - Needs a way to automatically cut hair from the roller and the small sweeper arm. We all have long hair and it winds up EVERYWHERE. Last robot vacuum's ONLY pro was an auto hair cutter. Roomba is almost PERFECT! Please consider adding this feature! All this said, we LOVE this Roomba, and our clean floors!! Used the mop method for the 1st time. It does a pretty good job. Not like a hand mop but it does clean up sticky spills and picks up dirt left behind but the vacuum. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba Plus 575 Combo robot + Autowash is such an awesome little vacuum and mop. The Roomba remains compact and sleek while able to vacuum and mop at the same time. As the Roomba runs it vacuums from the front and has spinning mop heads which clean from behind. The mop heads can pivot outwards to clean up against walls or furniture legs. Since it only makes one pass to vacuum and mop, it is the same speed as other brand smart vacuums. The initial set up was straight forward but took several attempts to complete. It did not want to connect to my wifi until I reset the router. But then it continued easily. The Roomba mapped my house quickly and efficiently. The map finalization (delineating rooms and marking areas to not mop) was a little more difficult than I would have liked. The software was not very intuitive. I have rooms which share a common wall. It identified these as one room and room separation tool only draws a straight line at lengths it determines. But once I figured these inconveniences out. The Roomba works great. The base has two large water tanks. One for clean water and one for dirty water. I have a smaller home and get around 3 cleanings before refilling. It is very quiet when running. It cleans great and even works on my laminate flooring.
