This is especially true for homes that have multiple floor types and this unit excels at handling both carpet and hardwood floors on the fly! The vacuum has powerful suction and is even able to get areas near the wall trim clean. The mopping function is effective and doesn’t leave behind a ton of moisture so it dries fast. Taking off a star since the app set up was a big pain and had a hard time connecting the device. Patience is definitely ended at first, Once paired then it maps your room and then you can set up! It does return to the base, empties and then keeps on going. I was happy it did various rooms on our 1st floor for a long time, so battery lasts a long time. It’s very loud, but also can hear the suction, so you know it’s working. Also had to do other set up on the app for the mop feature that my husband and I gave up on - we will revisit later. It does a really nice job on carpets, using its sensors and strong vacuum to keep them clean. The mopping capability with spinning mop heads is a great addition - they actually scrub the floor. It's also really cool that it actually cleans and dries the mop pads after each use, eliminating odors, and that it has automatic solution dispensing. The initial mapping was surprisingly accurate and straightforward to set up, and I like the zone control for cleaning runs. It maps the house accurately, navigates most furniture without drama, and the suction handles everyday dust, crumbs, and pet hair well on hard floors and low-pile rugs. The AutoEmpty dock is the best part — I only empty the bag every couple of weeks instead of after every clean. It’s quiet enough to run while I’m working, and the app is simple. It does struggle a bit on thicker carpets and occasionally needs a nudge under low furniture, but overall it’s reliable and genuinely reduces how often I think about vacuuming. Solid everyday robot.
