Pretty sturdy piece! I combined it with the corner shelving unit and rearranged the rods & shelves to fit my closet. It is definitely solid and I like that the pieces don't really dent or scratch. Great storage system for small closets! We were originally trying to find a short dressed to fit in this shallow closet but this was a way better solution and much better use of vertical space. It was a lot sturdier and heavier than we had imagined which was a nice surprise. We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top.
