Excellent bookshelf with a high-end industrial look I purchased this bookshelf to display books, military memorabilia, family photos, and a few decorative pieces, and it exceeded my expectations. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap.. Low Quality Fiberboard.... The shelves are .5 inches thick- feels very flimsy and the sides with the design that I thought would look unique and cool .... no.... they are pure fiberboard. their photo clearly says that the shelves are 1.57 thick- ill upload the photo from their advertisement This is a cheaply made item, save your money & buy something from a store you can actually see- or ask a friend to make them and they will be more unique!
