Great storage system for small closets! We were originally trying to find a short dressed to fit in this shallow closet but this was a way better solution and much better use of vertical space. It adds a nice touch to a child’s bedroom and provides ample storage. This piece would also be great in a laundry room or mud room. The drawers can get a little stuck though. Pretty sturdy piece! I combined it with the corner shelving unit and rearranged the rods & shelves to fit my closet. It is definitely solid and I like that the pieces don't really dent or scratch. Once it’s built, it does stand apart from the more economically engineered furniture pieces I’ve had. Nothing flexing and some clean baseboards lining the top and bottom. The drawers also have a satisfying push click to open action which is very nice. My only gripe is the back board of the piece is still the weak 16th inch thick board, it would be nice to see something more robust. Installed in a couple of hours, but Closet Maid includes a bracket that is supposed to make installation easier. It doesn't. Holes are not 16 inches apart so you will either use mollies or drill holes in the bracket. We threw it away. Now, for the good stuff. The adjustable shelving was perfectly easy to customize for what we had to store and if things change, so can the shelving.
