It has a unique, ventilated design that allows air to enter and circulate inside the caddy, which helps to reduce moisture - the main cause of unpleasant odors from decomposing food. In addition, it features a replaceable odor filter in the lid that works in tandem with the fresh air to help trap any smells that do occur. It has an easy-clean body, a flip-top lid, and a sturdy stainless-steel carry handle. A liner-retaining hole inside ensures any liners stay in place and the rim of the removable lid hides any untidy bag overhang. Perfect for storing on a kitchen counter.

Well it just arrived today-and so far I like both its color and feel-good quality-I hope to be able to add an update later-but so far I have found Wayfair’s Review System won’t allow after a few days of delivery-nevertheless I’m grateful it has atlas arrived-I look forward to composting-a personal choice I believe I owe our planet - and an update-now having this a few weeks, I have found this to be easy -the filter it comes with is very easy to install-currently I have just saved the seeds from cherries and avocado-and once the container is full I have poured out into the garden. The Upcycle Tumbling Composter is an upcycled food-grade barrel set on a rotating axis for easy compost aeration. It is about 4 feet tall and only requires a 3-foot by 4-foot area. You can put it in a smaller area for storage, but you'll need that much space free from obstacles to spin the barrel properly Eliminate back strain with this hip-level composter. The best garden tools are those that fit your style. If you prefer to work at waist level, this elevated compost maker is perfect. Using a rocking motion to build momentum, a compost tumbler is relatively easy to turn. Due to the aeration, the initial volume of added content will be reduced in half creating a powerful fertilizer/mulch for your lawn or garden needs. The composter body is made from repurposed High-Density Polyethylene Plastic from imported food barrels. You can be a part of keeping hard-to-break-down plastics from being added to landfills while also adding back valuable nutrients into the ground with compost.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The legs and lid did not. But I'm happy with my little working droid. :) It really was the perfect composter to be R2.. Marcia. Huntsville, AL. Fri Oct 15 2021
