When putting together the container the clips that was provided to hold the unit together was a great struggle to apply, you have to use great strength to push them down in place. Once this container is all put together, this container busted at the bottom where the door that slipped up and down, because it was to weak to hold the material inside. I bought this as an addition to my tote worm bin as the worms needed to be divided. I have a tote style for a year and wanted to try a tower. The lid does not snap on like the tote top. Whether this is going to be a problem, I don’t know. My tote has 3 coverings: plastic wrap, then paper grocery bag, then cloth held on with 2 types of bands. Just having a lid sitting on bin is the opposite of my other bin. Instructions were unclear and I emailed customer service and never heard back. No idea what or how to use the spigot. The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. These containers are what I needed. They are a bit flimsy but once you fill them up they are more sturdier. Weird I know! But I do love that the flaps on the top allow for opening when flipping the compost, it even allows for a lock. Did I mention that it ventilates the compost It’s worth the money.
