Its nice and sturdy, and easy to tumble. The compost will be easy to remove by sliding the door open and rotating it downward. My compost is only a week into the making and its 80 degrees. I am brand new to composting and this definitely meets my needs. Once assembled, it is a good size, lightweight, and easy to use. I took off a star because I found assembly to be challenging. Instructions were just ok. It requires over 40 little screws and bolts in some hard-to-reach places. Tough on fingers and fingernails. Calls for a wrench to tighten but no room to get a wrench in. Has small ventilation holes on sides - was wishing there were some on the top-facing surfaces to let sunlight in. it tumbles easily and is easy to fill. All said, I'm happy with it!. Anne. I’m super excited to have this compost bin. Assembly was straightforward and everything snapped together perfectly. I like the open bottom so that earthworms will have easy access to the compost. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. You can directly bury it in the soil, not instantly fertilize it near the root of the plant, because the high concentration of fertilizer will harm the plant and damage its growth.

Temperature plays an important role in the composting process. Decomposition occurs most rapidly between 110 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit (44-71 Celsius). Good looking product, but assembly was tedious. Follow the Instructions exactly for quickest results, but don’t expect to do it in two hours. Two glitches. The bolts supplied with the cart were not long enough and required a trip to the hardware store for longer ones. Only every other hole on one drum end were in alignment. A power drill remedied that. I have some concern about the quality of the steel fastening that will be contacting the composting material. Am concerned that the plated fasteners will corrode quickly.
