It has 2 separate bins within the 50 gallon barrel design which rotates for faster composting of yard leaves and kitchen plant-based scraps 3. It is raised above the ground on a stand to keep the squirrels ️ and other rodents away that had been raiding our last bin 4. It has easy access to each of the 2 bins with just the turn of the bright green knob to open it 5. It blends beautifully into our backyard which is surrounded by trees and greenery which attracts lots of birds 6. WORD OF CAUTION from my Hubbie who put this together for me. You can put it in a smaller area for storage, but you'll need that much space free from obstacles to spin the barrel properly Eliminate back strain with this hip-level composter. The best garden tools are those that fit your style. If you prefer to work at waist level, this elevated compost maker is perfect. Using a rocking motion to build momentum, a compost tumbler is relatively easy to turn. You can be a part of keeping hard-to-break-down plastics from being added to landfills while also adding back valuable nutrients into the ground with compost.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The legs and lid did not. But I'm happy with my little working droid. :) It really was the perfect composter to be R2.. Marcia. Huntsville, AL. Fri Oct 15 2021

The next generation of composting is now available. The Compost Wizard Dual Senior combines some of the greatest features in the tumblers to create a compact tumbler that does it all. With compost tumblers, users are restricted to working with one batch at a time. The dual senior overcomes this drawback by supporting two batches running simultaneously. Each 40-gallon chamber is separated and can compost independently. As with the majority of the tumblers, the dual sensor is manufactured using recycled polyethylene in Lake City, Pennsylvania. This plastic is BPA free and for contact with edibles. Setting up the composter is easy; simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you're done. The composter comes fully assembled. The dual tumbler will take your composting to the next level.

Our 43-Gallon Dual Chamber Tumbling Composting Bin is the perfect solution for creating nutrient-rich compost right in your backyard. Designed with convenience and efficiency in mind, this tumbler is ideal for both beginners and experienced gardeners

It is very nice.. Anonymous. Wed Aug 12 2026

Owning a compost bin can provide a continuous stream of organic fertilizer for your garden. This compost bin can help convert kitchen waste, coffee grounds, leaves, and weeds into green organic fertilizer. Please be careful not to add non-degradable garbage, such as glass, plastic, metal, and harmful substances—in two separate chambers so that you can compost two batches at different times. Rotate to facilitate composting. Generally, compost can be harvested in 2weeks. You can directly bury it in the soil, not instantly fertilize it near the root of the plant, because the high concentration of fertilizer will harm the plant and damage its growth.

Love it. Felipe. Gainesville, FL. Mon Sep 28 2026

This garden composter will surely be an ideal option to collect your garden waste.

This is perfect for backyard led composting, no food!. Peggy. San Clemente, CA. Wed May 14 2025

This garden compost bin helps to hasten the decomposition of organic matter and prepare fertiliser on your own. Effortless use: Simply fill the bin with garden and kitchen waste and rotate it a few times every day. Thanks to the 360 degrees rotating design, you do not have to move the compost independently.Practicable design: The composter bin with two separate chambers is very convenient. While on one side the decomposition is already happening, new material can be refilled on the other side. Efficient ventilation: The ventilation holes and deep grooves make it easier to move the compost with air, as well as crushing lumps into place. The black barrel absorbs heat well, which contributes to the process.Excellent choice: With a bin, you can speed up decomposition. Composter can also have the advantage of making it harder for rats to get at your compost.

Kitchen scraps and garden waste go in. Rich compost comes out. This one keeps the cycle going. Most composting setups ask you to wait — fill the bin, wait for it to break down, start again. The dual chamber design changes that. While one side is actively composting, the other side accepts new material. The rotation keeps both chambers mixing, the sliding doors keep heat and moisture in, and the process runs continuously without gaps. The 360-degree rotating drum is the practical difference between a static compost bin and a tumbler. No digging with a pitchfork. No reaching into a pile. Just give it a spin every couple of days and let the movement do the mixing. Decomposition speeds up, the material stays aerated, and the result is richer, more consistent compost. The steel frame keeps the unit stable at 36 inches of height — accessible without bending too far, elevated enough to keep pests from getting underneath. UV-protected polypropylene holds up through direct sun, rain, and winter conditions without cracking or fading. Each sliding door closes securely, sealing the contents away from flies and wildlife. For the backyard that already grows things well — and the garden that could grow them even better.
