Jamie Desk Lamp

The lamp shade that came with my lamp was a lot darker than the one depicted online. Mine was grey/ taupe. Very disappointing.

Once I realized which way to put the shade on, I was thrilled. I purchased 2 for a bedroom. They are wonderful lamps.

The design is really cute. The lamp they shipped me, however, is cheesy. It doesn't appear to want to stand straight, you can see the seam in the base of the lamp quite easily, on both sides, so how can I hide it? You have to assemble the lamp head to the base, and it is impossible to attach without twisting the cord inside the base. I don't think that's a good idea. But I see no way to avoid it or to release the tension. So, that's a lot of problems for what promised to be a pretty lamp. The more I think about it all, the madder I get.

The. lamp shade color is very different than what is show online. On the website it looks off white. The shade itself is very heavily textured and a taupe-gray. so not at all what was expected.

Great look, size for entry table. However, the lamp shade is not as depicted, and when lit it gives a muddled effect.
