They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. Nice string of unbreakable lights for our new pergola and outdoor kitchen area we're installing in the backyard. Easily long enough to wrap around the entire setup and provide some much needed light in the evenings. I really appreciate that the bulbs are both waterproof and shatterproof, so we don't need to worry about any glass breaking or shorting out with corrosion. This LED strip light has an adhesive on the back which allows you to easily install the lights. You can cut them to size but be sure you don’t cut away from the electrical source. The colors are beautiful. I noticed when dimming them, they make a buzz, and the control board attached to the lights gets a bit hot when you plug it in. I tried to pair with my Genie App and no luck. You can use an adapter to connect to a smart plug and pair with the Genie App. I downloaded the LED strip light app and there are bugs in it. For example, when you press one of the common colors, red will turn green, pink will turn blue…..The DIY lets you choose up to 8 colors for gradient or jump.
