This decorative Homestyle Birdfeeder is designed for outdoor use and is fully functional. The front features an adorable picket fence trim and is beautifully decorated with a charming print of bluebirds and camellias. Bluebirds are often referred to as the "bluebirds of happiness," symbolizing joy and happiness. They are generally associated with feelings of joy, harmony, and contentment. In South Carolina, camellias represent love, devotion, beauty, purity, and faithfulness. The feeder has an upstairs dormer and a painted pine shingled roof. The roof can be lifted and filled with seed. When filled it will spill gently onto the base tray. A heavy-duty nylon cord suspends the feeder for easy hanging. Holds approx. 2lb. of seed. Turn your yard into a bird lovers' paradise with this Perky-Pet Squirrel-Be-Gone II Country Style Bird Feeder. Attract everything from cardinals, finches, flickers, and grackles to grosbeaks, jays, and juncos. This bird feeder provides an optimal feeding station for birds, without catering to those sneaky squirrels. It does so by utilizing a weight-activated perch that closes off under a squirrel’s weight, while your favorite birds can still access the seed just fine. Adjustable springs can be calibrated to accommodate different bird sizes and keep away large nuisance birds as well. In addition, this feeder boasts an all-metal construction to resist squirrel damage and a powder-coated finish to resist rust. For your convenience, this feeder can be hung on a hook or pole mounted to allow versatile placement (and help with your squirrel prevention measures). The removable metal roof reveals a large opening that enables easy filling and cleaning. This feeder can hold up to 8 lb of black-oil sunflower seed, hulled sunflower seed, mixed seed, or safflower seed so it’s sure to keep your hungry birds happy and well-fed.

Very well made. Larger than expected. Nice surprise. Sandra. Old Monroe, MO. Wed Sep 30 2026

Exquisite Hand-Blown Glass Construction: Crafted from durable, thick glass with a vibrant red finish, this feeder is both a functional bird station and a beautiful garden ornament. Its unique, artisanal quality ensures longevity and superior appeal to hummingbirds.

Solar-Powered Colorful Illumination: This hummingbird feeder features a built-in solar panel that automatically powers energy-efficient LED lights after dusk. Hopper Bird Feeder is easy to fill top locks securely and combined with an adjustable weight spring-operated perch restricts access to squirrels and larger birds. Durable, chew-resistant powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. Simply unlatch and lift the squirrel resistant lid for easy filling and cleaning, seed level indicator window shows when the feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely preventing squirrel access while the weight activated perch prevents access to seed ports.

I was concerned about whether the birds would accept this based on the reviews but there are dozen of the flitting around it as I write this. I did deduct a star because the metal is a much thinner gauge than my previous brand name one (which needed replacing because a bear destroyed it- never had bears here before). The old one had already survived having a small tree fall on it. This one would not withstand that. The lid already had a dent when it arrived and I could easily bend the metal with my bare hands. The finish is a sprayed on paint, not a more durable powder coated finish so it will likely rust pretty quickly. I didnt want the hassle of a return so I kept it. It does the job and if it lasts a couple of seasons itll be worth it.. Susan. Deep River, CT. Sun Nov 08 2020

Effective Squirrel-Proof Design: Features bilateral weight-activated perches that close the feeding ports when a squirrel's weight is detected, while specialized locking fasteners on the lid prevent unwanted access. This intelligent mechanism ensures birdseed is reserved for your favorite feathered visitors.

This bird feeder with a viewing strip to view nectar level comes with a two-part detachable base and 8 feeding stations. A safety porch 1" from inside gives hummers a safe porch. The coatings on the designer graphics surrounding the glass bottle help delay the build-up. A two-part base is also treated with UV protection to keep color vibrant. The feeder is ready to hang with a metal hanger to fit most hooks and poles.
