The Freeport Park® sunflower seed screen bird feeder attracts a variety of clinging and perching birds to your backyard with the sunflower screen feeder. Feeder is easy to fill and can hold up to 6-7 pound of black oil sunflower, hulled sunflower, or sunflower mixes. Attracts cardinals, chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, woodpeckers, and more.

I had a similar feeder for nine years. It finally got some holes in the wire tube that our backyard chipmunks could actually go through and enjoy a feast. Plus, every time one squirrel was on it, and another fought for the feeder, the feeder would go spinning around, spraying sunflower seeds all over--which the critters loved, of course. I looked and looked for a similar feeder and the only one I could find was this one on Wayfair. It came quickly and I was so happy that it is identical to our former one! Strong, sturdy, well built, easy to refill. And now no more "wasted" seeds. (They never were truly wasted.) I expect this one to last just as long as the former one! One of the photos is a comparison of our old one with the "chipmunk opening" and the new feeder. I always use a strong string (not quite a rope) to hang up the feeder since the critters jump on it and it turns around. Hanging it from it's circular holder would just make it unscrew whenever it gets spun around.. Mary. Malone, NY. Sun Nov 01 2026

I like the dragonfly designs on the bird feeder. It is very attractive and my birds are loving it. I wish the feeder tube was made of glass. The iconic British police box functioned as a telephone kiosk or call box located in a public place for the use of members of the police or for members of the public to contact the police. Unlike an ordinary call box, its telephone is located behind a hinged door, so it can be used from the outside, and the interior of the box is, in effect, a miniature police station for use by police officers Today the image of the blue police box is widely associated with the science fiction program, Doctor Who, in which the protagonist's time machine/space ship is called a "TARDIS" for time and relative dimension in space. Constructed from exterior grade ply-board, polyresin details, and an outdoor, water-based, non-toxic paint. The feeder will hold 2 pounds of regular wild bird seed. Just slide up the roof fill it up with the seed of your choice and hang it from the heavy-duty nylon rope. The seed will spill out onto the bottom tray which also has small corner holes for drainage. Clear acrylic windows will let you know when it's time to refill.

Hopper Bird Feeder is easy to fill top locks securely and combined with an adjustable weight spring-operated perch restricts access to squirrels and larger birds. Durable, chew-resistant powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. Simply unlatch and lift the squirrel resistant lid for easy filling and cleaning, seed level indicator window shows when the feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely preventing squirrel access while the weight activated perch prevents access to seed ports.

I was concerned about whether the birds would accept this based on the reviews but there are dozen of the flitting around it as I write this. I did deduct a star because the metal is a much thinner gauge than my previous brand name one (which needed replacing because a bear destroyed it- never had bears here before). The old one had already survived having a small tree fall on it. This one would not withstand that. The lid already had a dent when it arrived and I could easily bend the metal with my bare hands. The finish is a sprayed on paint, not a more durable powder coated finish so it will likely rust pretty quickly. I didnt want the hassle of a return so I kept it. It does the job and if it lasts a couple of seasons itll be worth it.. Susan. Deep River, CT. Sun Nov 08 2020
