A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. We used the longer down-rod, supplied, and the fan barely shifted, even on the highest speed. Note... if you currently have a fan that has 2 wall switches, you will need to consider that, as this fan is built for ONE wall switch, then both the fan and light work off of the remote. Finally got this ceiling fan installed and I am so happy with it!!! The blades are really nice and fan base is sleek. Runs super quiet with 6 speeds and 3 light settings. Light can also be dimmed. Comes with a wall remote to access upon entering the room, and a removable remote to carry throughout the room. One of the best ceiling fans we’ve ever had. I’ve been really happy with this ceiling fan overall. The design is what first caught my attention. The solid wood blades look much more upscale than typical builder-grade fans and give the room a clean modern coastal feel. It works especially well in spaces with white or light natural finishes. The fan itself is very quiet, even on the higher speeds. The reversible motor is a nice feature and the airflow has been excellent for both cooling and circulating air. The remote is simple to use and having 6 speeds gives much better control than standard lowmediumhigh fans. I also liked the adjustable light temperatures since it makes it easy to switch between warmer lighting at night and brighter white light during the day. Installation was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer in a few spots, especially around wiring and pairing the remote. Not difficult if you’ve installed fans before, but first-time installers may need a little patience. My only real complaint is that the integrated light could be a little brighter for larger rooms, but for bedrooms, covered patios, offices, or sitting areas it’s perfectly adequate.
