I was a little confused on how to assemble these because the directions were not lined up. After figuring that out it was pretty easy to put together. These are some very beautiful pathway lights and are very bright. I used to worry about the weed eater messing up my lights, but these very sturdy and seems like they will last for a long time.. I just got these solar lights and installed them a couple days ago. So far, I'm loving them! They are very sturdy and being made out of metal, they should last longer. These are very pretty when lit at night. The wavy plastic makes them sparkle in a nice way. Don't get discouraged if you have trouble pulling apart the top cap and lens assembly from the lower black lamp body. You just have to tug firmly and wiggle just a bit and it will eventually come apart. It just felt so tight at first and I submitted a query to customer service. They responded within 24 hours. These are amazing! Gorgeous modern touch to our walkway! Had an electrician install them and he was blown away by the price for such beautiful outdoor lights. Our original ones are from a few years bck. The only reason for buying more was, the exterior house painting had led to the painters ladder breaking a few. I ordered replacements, but then also finished adding them to my other side of the garden. Currently buried under snow from the storm, but will add photos. The PERCH bollard brings a sculptural drum-shaped bollard with a broader footprint for a more substantial presence, finished in black aluminum and rated IP65 for wet locations. We retrofitted these lights along our front walkway (see photos). They look great and are very bright. However, they gave our electrician fits. One problem is that the 15" pvc pipe (see photo) included with the fixture isn't practical. There are no holes to insert the line voltage wire into the pipe unless you run the wire 15" deep in the ground and then feed it up the pipe. Also, if installing for the first time, we would not trust this flimsy pvc to keep the bollard level for the long term. Fortunately, we had a creative electrical team that eventually figured out how to retrofit our existing connection (using additional materials) to the new bollards. They look great and we're glad we bought them--because we wanted the entire "family" of lights to match, and we also used wall and post lights from the Shelter family--but we would have had to return them if our electrician hadn't been such a problem solver..
