Only reason for 4 stars is that the “white light” option is too bright white/ cool in color for my liking. If it were a warm white I would be totally in love with these sconces! Remote works well. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. I love the idea that these sconces are not hardwired. These are nice lights that we got to accent pictures in our hallway. There are lights on both sides. I will say that I thought that one side was stuck powered in, until I realized the pictures on the top indicated which button to use on the remote control.
