Cons: The gold finish is very bright and shiny, not an antique brass. Unboxing & Assembly Pro-Tip The lamp arrived quickly and was packaged very well. Assembly literally took me only 10 minutes while I was casually watching TV! Because the internal parts are pre-assembled, you don't even need the instructions—you just twist the metal pole pieces together. Assembly Tip: When you reach the final step, lay the lamp down flat on the floor. This makes it infinitely easier to pull the power cord through the base without tension. Material, Color, & Portability The base has a wonderful weight to it, making the lamp feel exceptionally sturdy and secure. However, it is still lightweight enough that I can easily carry it upstairs whenever I want to refresh a room's look. The iron construction feels durable, but buyers should note that the gold finish is a very bright, shiny gold. If your home features mostly muted antique brass, this will be noticeably brighter. Value & Verdict I love the sheer versatility of this traditional design. Because it comes with a lightbulb included, it is completely ready to go right out of the box. Given the affordable price point, it is also a low-risk piece if you want to use it for a creative DIY project to customize the finish. Highly recommend for anyone needing an easy style upgrade!. The BANQUERO vintage floor lamp is a timeless lighting statement inspired by early 20th-century banker and library lamps. Featuring a classic adjustable glass shade available in green or white, this design blends historic elegance with everyday functionality. The glass shade evokes the iconic banker’s lamp aesthetic, offering a warm, focused glow ideal for reading, writing, and concentrated tasks. The white glass option delivers a softer, brighter illumination with a more neutral look—perfect for contemporary, transitional, or minimalist interiors. An aged brass base with integrated counterweight provides excellent stability, while protective padding helps prevent floor damage. The adjustable shade allows you to direct light precisely where needed, and the traditional pull-chain switch adds an authentic vintage finishing touch. Designed for offices, libraries, living rooms, and refined workspaces, the BANQUERO floor lamp brings character, comfort, and timeless style to any interior. Compatible with one E26 LED bulb (not included).

You get what you pay for. It’s nice and heavy duty. It’s well made and exactly what I wanted. Very similar to this style desk lamp, the shade swivels to allow for light to be directed where you want it.. Anonymous. Sun Jun 14 2026
