This light is perfect in my closet! With an 8' ceiling, I needed something that was semi-flush so it wouldn't hang too low in the closet. This one is beautiful and just what I needed. One note, you do need candleabra base bulbs and the pointed ones are better than the round ones. I only had round ones, and I was able to use them, but one of two of them are really tight when I put the glass discs on the arms. I got LED bulbs, so they don't get hot, but I still don't recommend the round ones.The finish is as it looks in the pictures. It's beautiful brushed brass that is not too yellow. The brushed brass finish is stunning and looks incredibly elegant. This isn’t our first rodeo when it comes to installing new light fixtures in our home, so my husband was able to do so fairly easily. However, when we went to go turn the power back on and flip the light switch, it refused to illuminate. My husband took it apart again to double check the wiring, and nothing looked amiss. It’s really too bad because this light fixture feels as though it’s incredibly good quality, has some heft to it, and looks quite modern and upscale. We were really looking forward to having it in our dining room and to replace the old 90s fixture that has been hanging there forever. My husband might try to tool around with it again to see if there’s something loose or off that he can fix, but we’re quite sad that it just doesn’t seem to work and we had to replace it with the old fixture again. I hope ours was just a bit of a dud, and that this isn’t a testament to the quality of the company. It really does look beautiful.
