Our design draws from classic early 20th-century American industrial lighting, blending the iconic pumpkin silhouette with modern manufacturing techniques to create a piece that feels both nostalgic and timeless.

Not as tall as specs state, but what a beauty! The shade is a true white milk glass, and the detail on the metal is stunning. The biggest issue I had with this fixture is that the specs indicate that the down rod is extendable and max height was 95” so I ordered for my stairwell. Unfortunately, 95” should be read as centimeters, not inches. It was about a third of the height I was expecting and needed to order a new fixture. still plan to use this elsewhere, but was sad it didn’t fit my original plan!. Lisa. Frederick, MD. Sat Oct 17 2026

In the early 1920s, exposed-bulb light fixtures were jettisoned in favor of opaque glass globes that disguised the light source. These pieces found popularity predominantly in schoolhouses, giving this style its name. Here, we start with a classic schoolhouse glass shape and take it up a notch with lovely fluting that beautifully diffuses the light. The uncomplicated metalwork and the iconic glass shape call to mind a time when the world seemed a simpler place.
