Great piece! And well packaged.. Wendy. Tue May 05 2026

The pleasant character of glass in a semi-flush mount is beautifully embellished with a clean silhouette. Modern and simple, it includes a round canopy in a shimmering gold color that supports an skirt-shaped opaque jade glass shade, giving your interiors vibrant illumination and comfort within its light range. Suspend just over 9.45inch, it is a particularly good choice for rooms with low ceilings. Plus, it's rated for damp location, making it safe to be installed in bathrooms with steamy showers.

This is a cute little light fixture . It’s a huge glass cover for a tiny light. It requires hard wiring in the ceiling. The bulb is the size for a night light or flame bulb in a chandelier so it must not be very bright.. Lori. US. Sat Dec 13 2025

This 1-light semi-flush mount features a distinctive shape that's ultramodern and dynamic in design. It's crafted from steel with an array of finish options available, so you can make this piece truly your own. We especially love the matching cone shade with an eye-catching curved silhouette. A single bulb is exposed for all to see, and it's sold separately and compatible with dimmer switches. Rated for damp locations, this mount is even OK to install in bathrooms and kitchens. And with a hanging height of 8.5", it's ideal for rooms with lower ceilings.

nice quality but didn't work because the color inside is pretty orange.. Meg. Studio City, CA. Thu Apr 17 2025

This is a flush mount with a clean, contemporary attitude. Sleek finishes make it a cinch to create your very own design aesthetic that adapts to your surrounding décor. It strikes a circular drum silhouette and is crafted from steel. A white acrylic shade diffuses the glow from the included LEDs inside, and it's dimmable to allow for dynamic ambient lighting that suits your needs. A hanging height of a mere 3" means it's just right for rooms with low ceilings. It's also damp-rated for use in high-moisture environments.

As distinctive as it is delightful, this platinum stellar three-light flush mount illuminates your little astronaut’s bedroom in cosmic style! Crafted of steel in a polished chrome finish, the clean-lined round canopy provides a low-profile base for the white glass bowl shade--showcasing amber, yellow, and clear jewels and swirling lines inspired by planets and stars in the cosmos. Measuring 16" in diameter, this dimmable unit accommodates three A19-style bulbs to brighten up your room.

The light construction and glass shade are great. The glass shade look very nice. The reason I selected 4 stars and not 5 stars was due to the mounting. This fixture will only mount flush to the ceiling by compressing the fixtures wires and insulation (about 1") against the ceiling. This requires the electrical box to be solidly mounted in the ceiling as the compression puts a bit of stress on the electrical box mounting.. Anonymous. Pennsylvania. Sun Apr 30 2023

The contemporary collection makes a statement with its graphic uniform pattern. Its metal frame surrounds white glass in this elegant drum-shaped ceiling mount. The high contrast of Vibrant Gold, Black Forged, or Polished Nickel against white glass is a great way to add a touch of drama to a room.

Very cute design, however, because of glass does not put off a lot of light. . Miranda. Dallas, TX. Mon Apr 27 2020

Purchased this to replace a nearly identical antique fixture in my bathroom. I broke the globe while painting and could have cried. It had served the family faithfully for over 40 years and who knows how long before that. I thought any new fixture would just not be as good, but I was wrong. This item is extremely high quality and installed in a flash. The room seems brighter and the authentic look is just what I wanted. Thanks!. Terry. Washington, Dc. Mon May 18 2020

Spark conversation with our Sputnik-inspired Newton Semi-flush Chandelier. This showpiece is in the style of Mid-Century modern starbursts. Designed for modern spaces with minimalist decor this oversized, low-profile fixture features multiple lights for widespread illumination in tight spaces with low ceilings. Close-to-ceiling, the long, geometric arms bend at alternating angles for visual interest, and partial shades add a functional and aesthetic twist. Install with the shades up, down, or both. Reposition the shades up or down to suit your needs. A bold monochromatic Matte Black finish enhances the contemporary feel, completing the look and making the fixture a focal point in most spaces.

With its clean lines, minimalist aesthetic and sleek geometricity, this chic lighting collection artfully blends modern function with retro nostalgia. This contemporary two-tiered “wedding cake”-style design features slender, barely-there stems and canopies in warm and cool tones supporting elegant, drum-shaped, solid-metal shades lined with light-amplifying colors on the inside – for soft, glare-free indirect and ambient illumination.

The fixture is nice and looks great from this angle. However, it is a semi-flush which means you are seeing it mostly from underneath. It was not clear that there is not a bottom cover to the light fixture so you see all of the interior, including light bulbs, when looking up. It is needs a light, diffuser type cover to hide the lightbulbs and soften the brightness of the light.. Karen. Mclean, VA. Mon Jan 26 2026

exactly as describe.. Dennis. Middleburg, FL. Sat Sep 19 2026

The Paola family of lighting incorporates a thoroughly up to date aesthetic in a clean geometric design. Linear elements soften the impact of a large globe at the center of the fixture. A metal frame in your choice of finish circles around an opal glass globe, casting soft, skin-friendly light. Another arm of the frame circles back over the globe, creating a longer drop profile. Paola lighting adds a focal point to a foyer or hallway, and welcome curves to a kitchen or dinette.

Crisp geometry meets soft, diffused light in the Dayana 1 Light Flush Mount. A white glass globe sits snugly against a metal base in a clean, color-blocked silhouette that keeps the look minimal and transitional, while the glass gently spreads illumination across the room. Mounted flush to the ceiling, it keeps a low profile in hallways, entryways, bedrooms and kitchens, and its damp-location rating extends that versatility to spaces with a bit of humidity. Pair it with a compatible dimmer (sold separately) to shift from bright everyday light to a softer evening glow.

Definitely larger than I imagined - in a good way! Duh, it says 8", but I just imagined it as the standard small size. Bottom line... pleasant surprise and I love it!
