these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled.. The lights work under 12V low voltage, consuming low energy, which is safe for touch and friendly to eyes. To install the puck lights to a fixed location, you may use screws to fix or double-sided adhesive tapes to stick on, just needing some mins. You can install the lights to a fixed place like cabinet, furniture, showcase,etc. But more conveniently, our puck lights are not affected by location. Take it out when you use it, and save it after using at a party or a festival.
