My wife got this for me on a lark. We recently remodeled and repainted my office, and she felt like the light strand would make it kinda fun. She was 100% correct! The LED light strand adds a certain je ne sais quois to the room. The office is nautically themed, so one might expect sparse decorating, with paneled brown walls… this look, with the lighting, looks very nice. The remote control has several buttons that let you change colors and animations. The only issue is, and they address this in the included manual, when you size it you have to cut at specific areas. Purchased 4 18" under cabinet lights. Deciding factor was that they were a slim design and could be connected end to end. We had two florescent lights but the switches was hard to find (on the light) when feeling for it so they didn't get used much. I connected this set of lights to a wall switch. So much easier to operate them. My only comment is that I wish they came with adjustable light color. I lean toward the 4000 or 5000 K light color and I know that they sell lights like this but not in the slim design. Overall happy with the purchase and would purchase these units again.. Joe A..
