A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. The fan and switch require 3 wire (plus ground) running between them. We spent a day on working on changing out our wiring. Its hard to find the words describing the enthusiasm and pleasure I have already experienced since installing this fan. I am pleased both with the fan’s performance, and its absence from the well packed box in which arrived several months ago and in the interim has been assuming substantial space in my bedroom closet. The fan has four settings numbered one through four. Four being the fastest. As it accelerates to level four, the curtains begin to blow with the high velocity air movement.
