These dishes are really nice! They are lighter weight, which makes me worry they are a bit fragile. They are not marked as microwave and dishwasher safe, but the insert says they are. The bowls have a natural shape to their edges, and unfortunately do not have the embossed leaf design that's on the plates. These dishes are absolutely gorgeous. There are variations due to the firing process that only enhances the beauty of these dishes. I like the slightly raised edges.
