[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I can't say enough of how I was impressed with their packaging since I was wondering how they are planning to ship plates internationally without them breaking during the move. They packed the 12 dishes in a 3-layered system with wooden absorption layers between them, so it was like opening a nicely-wrapped present 3 times in a row, which was a great first impression. During the actual use, we had to wash them before using, and it handles the soap and hot water pretty well, and when we started to put hot food on the plates and started serving, it was an overall nice experience since we never used ceramic plates before, and since we were a 3-person household, this dish set accommodated our family in a nice manner since we had an extra plate set for a potential visiting family member. All in all, these dishes performed well even in microwave, so I would highly recommend these plates if you are looking for a premium-style plates that are made with high-quality materials.. Geonl.
