I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. Really nice set, just what I was looking for. I purchased open box since I'm a bargain hound, and everything is perfect except for one issue. Apparently in pickup and delivery process, the box was roughly handled with the end result being the lovely, handled platter/tray, was in pieces.
