Pretty pattern and no scratches or any other detractions. It's unfortunate that melamine /bamboo can't be put in the dishwasher (the plates are too big for the upper rack and my dishwasher doesn't have a low temp setting). We added small canapé plates to the main set along with soup bowls. I wouldn’t rule out buying some of the platters and large bowls in the future. It arrived well packed and totally undamaged.
