The hamper is beautiful and the material feels nice. The biggest drawback is that it doesnt hold its shape unless its half full. You can never just drop a blanket in the bag. You need 2 hands to open it and then fill it. It does make it way less functional. I fell for the look, bit wish I had held out for something that stands up on its own. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed.
