This basket is perfect for a laundry room or playroom, or even just blanket storage. It's huge! It is well made. The inside has a few rough edge though, so it would be worth checking before storing delicate items. The handles are great for transporting it.. Sarah. Iowa City, IA. Sat Sep 26 2026

The hamper that fits the space you don't have. Every bathroom has that gap — between the vanity and the wall, behind the door, the narrow strip beside the washer. Round baskets curve themselves right out of it. This one doesn't. The Ludmila half oval has a flat back panel, so it sits flush and gives the floor back. Set the lid on top and the laundry goes with it — no pile on show, no tidying before anyone comes over. 16.9" x 13.8" x 20.5", tall enough for a week of washing or an armful of throws when it moves out to the living room. Inside the weave, a full iron frame holds the shape load after load, and the water hyacinth is real, hand-woven in Vietnam — warm, a little golden in daylight, nothing like moulded plastic. Lid closed, and the room is done. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Natural fibre may arrive with a faint grassy scent that fades within a few days in a ventilated room. For indoor use.

Absolutely love this hamper! It’s light to carry and so ideal against a wall and takes up less space. It is made well, which I wasn’t so sure about at first, and seems it will hold up well. The lid is attached so it’s easy to keep it all together while taking out laundry. I just wish it had a better way to take the whole bag out when needing to carry laundry without un-tieing bag the whole time.. Ladybug. Miller Place, NY. Sun Oct 04 2026

I absolutely love this basket! I was a little hesitant about the “wrinkling” noted in the description, but I took a chance, and it wasn’t as bad as I imagined. It is packed with the edges folded in, creating four corner creases. I followed the instructions to iron out the creases on the steam setting, and it took no more than 5 minutes to smooth out those creases. The felt fabric is very thick and sturdy, and the upper edges do not slouch. I use it for my laundry, and my cats claim it for themselves when not in use. Let me level with you This is crazy money to spend on a laundry hamper. 150 is so many bananas, and Im almost positive that they sell laundry baskets at the dollar store. But Im a SimpleHuman Girly. I spent a full days pay on a SH trashcan when I was first starting out on my own. Guess what, though That trashcan sits in my kitchen to this day some 10 years later. So if this laundry hamper is half as amazing as their trashcans are, 150 seems more than reasonable. Regarding the actual product, its sturdy and has a decent capacity. I suspect the removable section will either be used every time I do laundry or never again - time will tell, and Ive only had it in my possession for all of 24 hours. Its even toddler approved, if thats a contributing factor.. Megan. Dallas, TX. Mon Aug 11 2025
