So it comes nearly fully assembled. The bar that needs to be attached wasn't cut correctly to line up with the ramp, but thankfully i had a acrylic nail file that I used to shave off the space to make it fit. I like these dogs ramps, and love that they came in a set of two. We have an older dog that has a hard time with the bottom step of our basement stairs, because it is higher than the other stairs. She also has a hard time getting started up the steps to our RV when camping and the ground is uneven. They were easy to put together and are lightweight and portable.
