I just finished assembly. It took me way too long but I got it done! It looks beautiful. You do have to be careful with some of the screws in the manufactured wood but the finished product is solid. I do think the back panels should be the same manufactured wood as the rest. The very thin nails to secure part of the cardboard panels are difficult to hold let alone nail in. This is a good quality shoe storage unit. I LOVE the walnut color. It goes great in our entry way. It was a bit of bear to assemble - lots of pieces but we did it. My only complaint with this is the notch in the back. I understand they were trying to factor it being against a baseboard but most baseboards are not that tall. You can see the raw wood.. Jb.
